Production Support Manager Job in Jersey City,NJ Looking to fill a Production Support Manager job in Jersey City, NJfor a top Fortune500 company. Production Support manager will berequired to manage on call resources for business services and willbe responsible for helping manage high priority tickets andescalating as necessary. This will require support outside ofstandard business hours. The Production Support Manager will beoverseeing multiple Java Developer teams so a strong Javabackground is required.
DESCRIPTION
Oversees activities related to maintenance of the applicationsystems that are running the daily operation of the firm.
Responsibilities also include oversight for the creation andmaintenance of application Service Level Agreements, root causeanalysis, management communication and client relationshipmanagement in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support teammembers. Ensures all production changes are made in accordance withlifecycle methodology and risk guidelines. Responsible for coachingand mentoring less experienced team members as well as overall teammanagement responsibilities. Functional knowledge of theapplication(s) supported and interdependencies. This individual maylead several teams that may cross project boundaries, but typicallywill be responsible for both deliverables and projects.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The manager will be responsible for application support,maintenance and troubleshooting. The manager will track small discretionary work ordersand production break fixes throughout the delivery lifecycle. Senior Level role. Looking for someone coming fromsimilar position. Enterprise/complex environment experience is amust. Financial Services experience is preferred. Must be able to manage situations/broker conversationsbetween multiple teams. Will be highly engaged with multiplegroups/managment. Also responsible for Process/ReportingImprovements Strong Java background is a plus!
