Successful completion of a criminal history background investigation is required prior to employment.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This is responsible supervisory and administrative work assisting the Supervisor of Elections in fulfilling the responsibilities and requirements found in the Florida Elections Code.
An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training poll workers; managing all personnel records and payroll for poll workers; selecting polling site locations; qualifying candidates; administering the public records retention process as required by Florida Statutes and the Department of State.
Work is performed under the general direction of the Supervisor of Elections and is reviewed through conferences, reports and observation of results obtained.
