Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversees and assures the daily office for clinic operation. Assists Clinic Manager with special projects as needed. Provides support for the administrative staff, to include organizing work assignments, problem solving, scheduling, productivity monitoring, evaluating performance, and implementing performance improvement projects.
Manages human resources functions including participating in the hiring process, onboarding of new employees and assists in resolving complex HR issues. Serves as a point of contact and liaison to the public and other university departments.
Initiates annual review and update of program brochures, organizational chart, and marketing packets. Prepares reports, presentations, event materials and other written documents as needed.
Responsible for administrative assistance and follow up to ensure the organization and effective implementation of the Division’s monthly Grand Rounds. This includes extensive communication with speakers to obtain all information and documentation required for CME eligibility.
Ensures all Peds ID staff and faculty are up to date with license renewals, credentialing, DEA renewals, and other required training and certifications. Maintains personnel spreadsheet to track completed training.
Processes and maintains file for purchasing and check requests, ensuring compliance with organization policies and procedures.
Routinely conducts staff meetings to discuss operations, staff issues, and customer satisfaction; reviews new policies and procedures; shares general information. Handles special administrative projects, and all other duties, as assigned.
EXPECTED SALARY
$46,000 to $57,000 annually depending on education and experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Healthcare and/or Clinical Experience. Administration, Business or related field.
Five years of operational experience in an ambulatory practice setting in the same or similar specialty.
