Job Description

Administration & Operations Coordinator 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars 2220 Bolton Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 General Description Westside Table is a growing and diverse second campus of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. This position provides administrative and logistical leadership that supports and advances the mission of Westside Table. This role will provide leadership in the areas of administration, facility management, event coordination and volunteer management.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Administrative Coordination Provide operational support for Westside Table. Manage campus-related administrative tasks. Manage Data and Information in the Church Database (Currently Church Community Builder.) Collaborates with Campus Pastor with visitor followup and engagement, collecting and auditing membership information, and managing membership and ministry information. Manage and Organize the Church Calendar. Event Coordination Assist with planning, organizing, scheduling and executing of church events, services and programs, including worship services, community events and special events. Implement internal communications plans for events in coordination with staff and volunteer teams. Engage and schedule volunteers and event vendors. Manage setup and cleanup of facilities. Utilize church database to schedule and manage events. Facility Coordination In coordination with Westside Table’s Facilities Team as well as the PRUMC Director of Facilities Management, oversee Campus Facilities, ensuring that spaces are properly set up, maintained and cleaned for services, meetings and events. Coordinate any necessary facility maintenance and setup requests. Manage inventory and order necessary supplies. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers. Address urgent facility requests as needed. Volunteer Coordination Recruit, train and oversee volunteers for ministry at Westside Table. Ensure that volunteers are identified and appropriately resourced for worship and other events. Assure that all staff, leaders and volunteers have access to resources and facility required for volunteer work. Provide onsite assistance and oversee Sunday logistics either in person or via designated proxy during Sunday worship. Assure resources are available to hospitality and supporting new visitors.
