They are responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks listed below. While there will be some flexibility, this is not a virtual position. Face time with the Owner and the Project Manager will be required at minimum once a week after training is completed, and more before training is completed. In addition the Administrative Coordinator may be required to meet workers at sites or perform occasional errands that require physical presence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Following up with subcontractors to ensure timely quote information Receiving and organizing calls and emails Receipt management Insurance compliance management (Verify subcontractors’ Insurance status) Change order management Scheduling subcontractor meetings for Owner and Project Manager Meeting subcontractors and occasional errand runs
Skills Required:
The Administrative Coordinator will sometimes be the first point of contact for new clients, as well as a key point of contact for subcontractors. The nature of this job requires people skills, a positive attitude, professionalism, attention to detail, organization skills, timeliness in responding to communication, and basic computer and Excel skills. Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred but not required.

Because of the hybrid nature of this position the applicant must have reliable transportation, as well as a laptop computer, consistent access to the internet, and a reliable cell phone.
