DESCRIPTION
The University of Southern Maine’s Adult Student Success Center is seeking a Part-time Administrative Coordinator. The part time-time Administrative Coordinator will serve as the primary administrative support for the Adult Student Success Program and Center, which assists adult undergraduate students, (age 24 and older) in pleting their first bachelor’s degree. The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the program’s Director, as well as student workers.

The Adult Student Success Center at the University of Southern Maine (USM) is dedicated to supporting adult learners. The center offers personalized coaching, assistance with navigating university systems, and access to resources like scholarships and credit for prior learning. This is a part-time (20-hours per week, 9-month) position with an annual salary of $16,875 and will be located on our Portland Campus. As a 20-hour per week, 9-month position, this position will have the month of May, June, and mid-December to mid-January off. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least one (1) year of related experience or a bination of education and related work experience. Demonstrated proficiency with modern office technologies (e.g., Zoom, cloud platforms, Google Apps, Microsoft Programs, Canva, etc.) and can troubleshoot mon technical issues independently.
A self-starter with the ability to efficiently multitask, manage workflow, remain flexible, shift priorities as needed and adhere to deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal munications and responsiveness.
