Job Summary ThePatient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor is an experiencedRegistered Nurse and is responsible for supervising and monitoringthe Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift in accordance withnursing standards and practices as well as current Federal, Stateand local standards, guidelines and regulations. This positionensures the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patientcare via the utilization of the Nursing Process and creates apositive environment for the professional practice of nursing. Inaddition, this position ensures activities foster continuousquality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes. This positionalso ensures patient flow throughout the organization. Thisposition provides leadership for multiple hospital departments inthe absence of the unit manager, director, or administration.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required 3 years ofacute care charge or supervisory experience required Progressiveleadership experience Active Registered Nurse license from theState of Connecticut required Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)provider credentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA)Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) providercredentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Wetake great care of careers.
