00 About This Position

JOB PURPOSE

The Operations Administrator is the person who handles Budget, Datamanagement, and Coordination/Logistical tasks in the Department toenable Projects to maneuverer smoothly knowing that communicationis following proper channels, database systems are populated withlatest information, activity is following the proper flow, andschedule milestones are at the fore front of thinking whendecisions are being made. Department exclusive and unique tasks tosupport Business & Product Planning Division are also necessary.

This is a key behind-the-scenes person making sure the gears arein-sync and working according to plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Budget Management:
  • Promote appropriate fiscal controls and processes fordepartment operations.
  • Track departmental spending and update actuals regularly.
  • Ensure budget adherence and provide regular financial reportsto management.
  • Coordinate Department Unit summarization and resource planningdiscussion and support Department Lead with reporting data.
Data Organization and Coordination:
  • Promote and enforce data management best practices within thedepartment for internal and external data customers.
  • Organize and manage data flow within the department.
  • Coordinate the dissemination of information to relevantstakeholders.
  • Maintain Centralized database of departmental information.
  • Grant and remove access to users, ensure data security ∫egrity. Services and Consulting Contracts and Management
  • Assist Department Lead and Project LPL to mature and circulateSOWs (Statement of Work) and MSLs (Master Services Agreement) toprocure necessary stakeholders signatures so that work with vendorsand consultants can proceed according to schedule and meet expectedresults.
Logistics & Project Support:
  • Provide logistical support for department members accessingother Honda facilities.
  • Determine appropriate points of contact to support visitingHonda and external guests as well as unique projectrequirements.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and access permissions asrequired.
  • Assess and deliver project requirements for unique activitiesthat communicate the value of department and center activities.

This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating with projectleaders and management, securing assets and resources, andnavigating potential schedule conflict while assessing prioritybetween normal operations and special activities. About This Position
