Characteristics of Work:

Managerial-level position accountable for the administrative management of a treatment unit. Responsible for setting work schedules, delegating assignments, assigning tasks and evaluating employee performance. Also accountable for establishing employee policies and procedures. Supervises professional staff and supervisors.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring agency:

• Accountable for the administrative management of a treatment unit.
• Responsible for setting work schedules, delegating assignments, assigning tasks and evaluating employee performance.
• Accountable for establishing employee policies and procedures.
• Accountable for assuring all policies and procedures are being followed within the unit
• Accountable for assuring all forms are correctly completed and turned in
• Supervises professional staff and supervisors
• Accountable for cleanliness of unit
• Accountable for providing conductive environment for safety, learning, and everyday activities
• Accountable for individuals’ personal belonging/property
• Accountable for assuring RLS training objectives are preformed and documented property
• Training of staff supervised
• Working with team members to reach desired outcomes
• Providing direct care to individuals
• Primary duties being on the floor and active with individuals and staff with minimal in office work time
• Driving individuals to and from appointments and activities (requires driver’s license and insurance)
• Monday through Friday with mandatory six-week rotation of weekend shift work
• Floating Holidays when Holiday falls during schedule workday
• Other duties as assigned by RLS Supervisor, and/or Client Services Director

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Typically requires 5+ years of related experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. May require some college credit by hiring agency and/or a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
