Life Enrichment Administrative Coordinator 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 8919 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210 The Life Enrichment Administrative Coordinator will support administrative operations of the Life Enrichment Office and assist in the coordination, planning and implementation of resident programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Represents the community in a positive manner while creating an environment that foster respect and courtesy for residents and employees alike. Works to promote enriching programs and activities which support resident wellbeing. Assists in the development, coordination, planning and implementation of programs, including contract negotiation, scheduling performers, attending off campus trips, promotional materials, set up, etc. Maintains HIPPA standards and regards all medical and healthcare information pertaining to residents and employees as confidential. Manages the reservation line and tracking of reservations for programs and transportation. Attends and actively participates in departmental and community events as needed (with some non-traditional event hours, holidays, and days of the week) Provides timely departmental budgetary reporting, submission for billing, supplies, contracts, equipment, etc. with department directors approval. Works individually and with team members to support Departmental Objectives/Strategic Planning goals. Utilizes communication tools and practices to generate awareness of Life Enrichment Programs. Provides administrative support to the LE Manager & Director with printed collateral as well as digital platforms such as Outlook, Cubigo, and Canva. Monitors shared room calendars and community room signage for accuracy. Posts signage for community rooms. Provides staff support to resident committees such as Movie Committee, Life Enrichment Committee, Volunteer Committee & Mens Club Committee. Works respectfully with residents, committees, and volunteers as needed. Assists with research related to events in the community, industry trends and evaluating competition. Assists with coordination of Volunteers. Completes all required Relias training in a timely manner. Responsible for fire and safety procedures including those of blood borne pathogens. Travel required for meeting off campus with potential Community Programming and Event partners. As well as for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other community functions. Remains in proper business attire at all times and maintains a high standard of appearance. Participates in professional improvement workshops, seminars, and meetings which allow continued education on current affairs related to the retirement, continuing care, community outreach, education, and event planning. Follows all company policies and procedures. Maintains excellent resident and employee relations, respecting each and handling complaints and feedback constructively. Attends staff/team meetings as requested. Utilize resources, materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in maintaining a safe and attractive environment for residents and coworkers. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager or Director of Life Enrichment Programs.

Experience required:
Experience in long-term care activities program and/or independent living activities program preferred. Experience working with geriatric population and knowledge of Alzheimers/Dementia preferred. Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, follow oral and written directions and communicate with residents and staff. Must be proficient in Outlook Suite, Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel, and other software as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must conduct all business with a professional manner, with a high level of confidentiality and preform under various time sensitive or stressful situations.
