Non Profit Admin Coordinator Non profit Raleigh, NC 27606 • Hybrid work The Alcohol Drug Council of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing the impact of substance use and mental health challenges across the state. We provide education, advocacy, and access to care through our information and referral helpline, community outreach, and support services. As a small but dedicated team, we value collaboration, compassion, and innovation in our mission to support individuals and families affected by substance use. Position Summary The Administrative & Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the internal operations of ADCNC. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about working in a mission-driven environment. You will help ensure our administrative systems are efficient, our team is supported, and our compliance and HR processes are up to date. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Operational Support Maintain and renew business licenses and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor and manage the organization’s general inboxes, routing inquiries appropriately. Assist in developing and maintaining a digital filing and organizational system using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.). Providing executive support to leadership Human Resources Support Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and volunteers. Maintain HR documentation and personnel files. Support hiring processes, including posting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and help foster a positive, inclusive team culture. Technology & Systems Provide basic IT support and assist with troubleshooting Help implement and maintain digital tools and systems that improve team productivity and collaboration Identify tools and technology to improve operational efficiency Fundraising & Grants (Preferred but Not Required) Support grant research, writing, and reporting. Assist with donor communications and fundraising campaigns. Qualifications Must be comfortable working with neurodiverse leaders and team members in recovery, and committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment. Experience in administrative or operations roles, preferably in a nonprofit or small team environment. Advanced skills with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). Experience developing track systems Advanced Excel and other database knowledge Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and proactively. Experience with HR processes and documentation.
