Administrative Support Coordinator/Bookkeeper MAIN ATTRACTIONS, South Plainfield, NJ 20 Harmich Road, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations within the office. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts, making it crucial for maintaining accurate records and assisting with financial tasks. Responsibilities Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence. Assist with general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records. Process payroll and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments. Prepare journal entries and assist in balance sheet reconciliation. Utilize Xero for managing financial data and generating reports. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks with accuracy. Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency. Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents. Experience Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar clerical role is preferred. Familiarity with Xero or other accounting software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of financial concepts, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger accounting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
