Busy property management company looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant to act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to our property management company.
Duties include:
- Answer phones
- Client and Tenant Relations
- Assign and follow up on maintenance requests
- Support property management staff by handling all communications with potential and current venders, residents and owners
- Pay utility bills and help facilitate and handle utility companies
- Keep a record of interactions with residents
- File paperwork, organize property keys, write letters, handle mail
- Other General Administrative Office duties
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
To execute the expected job duties, successful property management administrative assistants must possess a combination of technical and interpersonal skills that include: Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate across digital platforms and in-person Attention to detail Effective time management, including prioritization of time sensitive items and the ability to meet deadlines Organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills to support relationships with a broad range of stakeholders Knowledge of regional and national real estate laws and guidelines for rental property Proficiency with word processing software (Appfolio experience preferred but not required) and other related tools Excellent customer service skills The ability to make independent decisions on a daily basis and address the best way to handle specific tasks.
