The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial processes, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism. Duties Manage and oversee accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments. Contact clients via phone and email to negotiate payment arrangements for overdue accounts. Utilize financial software to track payments, debits, and credits accurately. Conduct account reconciliation to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts. Maintain accurate documentation of all communications and transactions related to collections. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving collection rates. Adhere to company policies and legal regulations regarding debt collection practices. Qualifications Previous experience in collections or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with medical billing processes is a plus. Strong understanding of accounts receivable principles and account reconciliation techniques. Proficient in using financial software for tracking payments and managing accounts. Excellent phone etiquette with strong negotiation skills. Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
