Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our logistics team in Miami, Florida. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone detail-oriented who thrives in managing collections, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee customer accounts to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payments.
  • Communicate with clients to address outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies in a meticulous manner.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer transactions, payment history, and communications.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account statuses and collection progress to management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies related to accounts receivable and collections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and address any financial discrepancies.
  • Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve collection processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client interactions professionally.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations related to collections.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to reconcile accounts.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
