What You’ll Do as a Collections Specialist TheCollections Specialist will manage critical accounting tasks whilebuilding strong internal and external relationships.
Key dutiesinclude:
Processing rent payments for a portfolio of 50 properties.
Making collection calls to tenants with outstanding balances.
Handling daily deposits and ensuring payment accuracy. Posting cashreceipts and reconciling accounts. Maintaining up-to-date vendorand tenant records. Collaborating with the property management andaccounting teams to support smooth collections and reportingprocesses. Qualifications – What Makes a Great CollectionsSpecialist To thrive as a Collections Specialist, candidates shouldbring: 2 years of Collections or Accounts Receivable experience.
Experience in commercial real estate is a strong plus. Familiaritywith Skyline software is preferred. Solid understanding of debitsand credits. Strong attention to detail, time management, andcommunication skills. Ability to work independently in afast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
