Collections Representative Position Available In Polk, Florida

Collections Representative 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Lakeland, FL 33801 We are looking for a Collections Representative in Lakeland, FL ! This a 6 month contract-to-hire, meaning you will be converted full time (which includes PTO, Holiday Pay, etc.) after 6 months. Health benefits offered immediately, with no waiting period!

Schedule:

Fully in-office Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm 4 days and 10:00am-7:00pm 1 day Ability to work overtime and/or possibility to work 1 weekend per month if needed

Job Summary:

This person would be responsible for all inbound/outbound calls to manage customer accounts. Pursue collections and keep accounts current by contacting customers via telephone or email. Determine customer’s ability to pay and offer appropriate payment options. Enter details of conversation and agreements into computer system. Act as primary contact for collection issues. Make collection escalation recommendations to appropriate individuals when more severe efforts are needed.

Additional qualifications:

Ability to work Monday-Friday fully in office in Lakeland, FL High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required 1 year of Collections experience in a Call Center environment Inbound/outbound high call volume experience Reliable, independent, and detail oriented 5 days onsite in Lakeland (standard hours 8-5), also able to work one shift 10 am- 7 pm a week
