Associate’s Degree Essential Duties 1. Responsible for all aspects of follow up and collections, including making telephone calls, accessing payor websites, and verifying adjudication. 2. Review the account information and necessary system applications to determine the next appropriate work activity, identify issues and provide suggestions for resolution. 3. Accurately and thoroughly documents the pertinent collection activity performed. 4. Initiate telephone or letter contact to patients to obtain additional information as needed. 5. Coordinates with internal departments to resolve ongoing issues. 6. Attend and participate in meetings, training seminars and in-services to develop job knowledge. 7. Respond timely to emails and telephone messages as appropriate. Communicate issues to management, including payer, system or escalated account issues. 8. Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual performance evaluation process with their Supervisor. 9. Ability to perform all other duties as assigned or requested. 10. This is a remote position.
