Collections Specialist 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Atlanta, GA 30328 TRC’s client is seeking a highly motivated Collections Specialist. The Collections Specialist assumes the lead in the invoice collection process and maximizes cash flow by ensuring that invoices are paid timely.

Responsibilities:

Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments. Send A/R Statement of Account reports to clients monthly, with regular follow-up until account balances are resolved Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts – Customer calls, account adjustments, customer reconciliations. Works with the cash application team to proactively resolve unapplied cash and timely posting of payments. Must communicate & follow up effectively with peers regarding customer accounts on a timely basis. Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with managers and department heads. Provide excellent & considerate customer service to customers

Qualifications:

Associate degree in accounting. Highly preferred 3-5 years of volume Collections experience.
