Collaborate with accounts receivable, sales, and legaldepartments to negotiate debt recovery from clients, utilizingeffective communication and negotiation skills. To initiatecollection efforts, contact clients via phone, email, or othercommunication channels, document all communications, and recordpayment plans, agreements, and payments. Release lines or liftholds on accounts once payments are received, ensuring accurate andtimely updates to account statuses. Monitor and manage assignedaccounts, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepanciesor issues that may arise during the collections process. Provideexcellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries andresolving issues professionally and on time. What does the companyneed in a Collections Specialist? 2 years of experience as aCollections Specialist, showcasing your knowledge and expertise indebt recovery processes and techniques. Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel, as you will utilize spreadsheets for data analysis andreporting. Attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation andrecord-keeping of all communications and payments. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills enable you to negotiatewith clients and effectively provide exceptional customer service.
