Collections Specialist-B2B-NOT Third PARTY Eagle Resource Group Buford, GA 30518 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, contacting clients regarding outstanding debts, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen understanding of financial processes, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Duties Contact clients via phone and email to collect outstanding payments on accounts. Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in the accounting software. Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to billing or payment. Perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with the revenue cycle management team to improve collection processes. Provide excellent customer service while handling inquiries and resolving disputes. Document all interactions with clients in compliance with company policies and regulations. Skills Proficient in Math for accurate calculations related to account balances and payments. Experience with accounting software to manage accounts efficiently. Knowledge of medical collection practices is a plus. Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes. Telemarketing experience is beneficial for effective communication with clients. Strong phone etiquette to maintain professionalism during calls. Understanding of debits and credits as they relate to account management. Ability to conduct thorough account analysis for effective collections.
