Collections Position Available In Essex, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Collections Rep Temp-Perm 9-5pm $27hr Ability to take notes;update account status and customer information Meet or exceedmonthly performance goals, deadlines and objectives Adhere toconsumer protection laws and FHC’s standard practices and policiesResearch and identify issues attributing to account delinquency andresolve them by working with the customer Communicate and follow upeffectively with Sales Department regarding customer accounts on atimely basis Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management whennecessary to accelerate the collection process Review and monitorassigned accounts and all applicable collection reports Respond tocustomer inquiries, resolve client discrepancies, process andreview account adjustments Negotiate payment plans to determine whycustomers are delinquent and to ensure continuous repaymentEstablish and maintain cooperative working relationships

Requirements:

Knowledge of Billing and Collections ProceduresPossesses excellent verbal, negotiation, customer service andcommunication skills Well organized, Results driven, and able towork in a high volume and fast-paced office environment Strongattention to detail Ability to resolve challenging situationscalmly and professionally Capability to work independently and toadapt to a fast-changing environment

Preferred Skills:

Familiarwith Sedona Office Accounts Receivable knowledge

Physical Demands:

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required.

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinetsand bend or stand as necessary Position Type and Expected Hours ofWork Full Time Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm 40 hoursweekly
