Collections Analyst St.

Louis, MO Description Customer Engagement:

Contact clients via phone/email to secure timely payments and resolve concerns.

Billing Investigation:

Identify and correct billing discrepancies.

Portfolio Management:

Proactively reduce past-due balances and maintain account currency.

Cash Application:

Detect and resolve cash application errors.

Chargeback Resolution:

Investigate and resolve chargeback deductions.

Project Ownership:

Handle special projects and contribute to process improvements.

Collaboration:

Work with internal teams and customers to provide effective solutions. Issue and distribute invoices Process new contracts and sales Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy Address customer complaints and questions Keep track of accounts receivable and transactions Assist with customer account reconciliations Prepare and present analytical reports Support monthly and quarterly audits and clean ups Skills Accounting, Invoicing, Data entry, Billing systems, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Reconciliation, Collection, Bookkeeping Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance OR relevant work experience 3+ years of billing experience in a high volume setting Excel proficiency including formulas Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $26.00/hr.
