General Position Scope:
Responsible for collection of outstanding loan balances in accordance with lending policies and procedures as established by senior management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work from list of assigned accounts and note collection efforts into CarmPro Collections software on a daily basis. Contact customers regarding their delinquent accounts to negotiate repayment per contract terms. Utilize in house tools and software to locate and contact customers so that collection efforts can continue and minimize losses. Be accountable for reducing delinquency of assigned accounts. Enlist the efforts of management when necessary to assist in the collection process. Maintain follow up and tracking of assigned accounts for receipt of payments. Remain informed and adhere to all collection laws and procedures. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
