Collections Specialist 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Burlington, NC 27217 We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Burlington, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing accounts receivable and collection processes to ensure timely payments and maintain strong customer relationships. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in accounting systems and financial services while contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate collections. Handle inbound calls from clients to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues. Manage claim administration tasks, including processing and follow-ups. Utilize accounting software systems to track, update, and report financial data. Perform collection activities, including contacting customers and negotiating payment plans. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and seamless communication. Use CRM tools to maintain detailed records of customer interactions and payment histories. Apply knowledge of Accurint and Epic Software to streamline collection processes. Monitor and analyze outstanding accounts to identify trends and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all collection activities. Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections management. Proficiency in using accounting software systems and tools. Familiarity with Accurint, Epic Software, and CRM platforms. Strong understanding of billing functions and claim administration processes. Excellent communication skills for handling inbound calls and customer interactions. Ability to analyze financial data and implement effective collection strategies. High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to collections.
