Collections Specialist Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting debt recovery efforts for a property management and real estate investment organization. You will focus on managing outstanding balances, ensuring timely follow-ups, and working closely with legal and administrative teams. Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-ups on overdue accounts to recover outstanding balances from tenants.
• Collaborate with legal teams to manage eviction-related procedures and court filings.
• Utilize accounting and CRM software to track and document collections activities.
• Serve legal notices in person as needed to facilitate debt recovery processes.
• Analyze accounts to identify trends and recommend process improvements for collections.
• Handle inbound calls and respond to tenant inquiries regarding payment plans.
• Process bulk collections efficiently while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with investigators to pursue judgments and resolve complex cases.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all communications and transactions.
• Provide administrative support for billing and claim administration tasks. Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems to manage and track financial data effectively.
• Experience with Accurint for locating and verifying customer information.
• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services for processing financial transactions and payroll.
• Skilled in using CRM tools to manage customer relationships and track interactions.
• Knowledge of Epic Software for handling billing and financial operations.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to monitor and ensure timely payments.
• Ability to answer inbound calls professionally and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
• Expertise in billing functions to ensure accuracy and compliance in invoicing.
• Experience in claim administration to process and resolve claims effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of collection processes to recover outstanding debts while maintaining client relationships.
