Pay is $18-19/hr. 1st shift hours 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Bilingual Collections Representative fluent in English and Spanish to join a auto finance team. This role focuses on contacting customers with past-due auto loan or lease payments, working with them to find suitable payment solutions, and helping protect the company’s portfolio by minimizing delinquencies. You will be the voice of the company in resolving payment issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound and receive inbound calls to customers with overdue automotive loans or lease payments Negotiate payment plans or settlements within company guidelines Communicate clearly and professionally with customers in both English and Spanish Document all customer interactions, agreements, and status updates in the collections system Identify and escalate accounts at risk of repossession or legal action Educate customers on their contract terms and payment options Collaborate with dealership finance teams and other internal departments as needed Stay informed on state and federal collection laws, including FDCPA, TCPA and automotive finance regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred) 1+ years of experience in automotive collections, auto finance, or related field Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up Ability to work on computers and able to communicate via phone calls, email and text applications Ability to have difficult conversations about delinquent accounts while being professional
