Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage assigned accounts to establish credit metrics, review new account and reactivation requests, and provide credit limit recommendations to Credit Managers. Gather and analyze credit and financial information on new and existing customers using credit reports, financial statements, and supplier references. Receive inbound communications from sales branches and customers and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Contact customers for payment commitments to satisfy due or delinquent balances and negotiate positive resolutions to aging outstanding accounts. Release blocked orders within established level of authority and make recommendations to Credit Managers on larger orders. Prepare documentation for collections of submittals and/or litigation and procure reports from industry repositories. Manage invoice and statement servicing and ensure accurate and timely communication with customers. Facilitate the collection achievement of 100% of goal for the Account Manager’s portfolio.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years of related work experience in credit and collections. Knowledge of credit and collections leading practices, ability to interpret account aging reports, and analyze data, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Customer service oriented with good attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines. Ability to handle large work volume and multiple priorities, with a high level of organizational and time management skills.
