Collections Specialist Position Available In Bergen, New Jersey

Description We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team in Allendale, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with expertise in corporate collections and credit analysis. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage B2B accounts and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances.

Responsibilities:

• Manage corporate credit and collections processes to ensure payments are received on time.
• Perform detailed credit analysis to assess customer account statuses and mitigate financial risks.
• Handle B2B collections, maintaining clear and effective communication with clients to resolve payment issues.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to collections and credit performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address disputes and ensure accurate account reconciliation.
• Develop strategies to improve collection rates and reduce overdue balances.
• Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and customer communications.
• Monitor aging reports to prioritize collection efforts effectively.
• Provide recommendations for credit holds or account adjustments as needed. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate collections or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis and B2B collections.
• Advanced skills in Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with corporate credit practices and procedures.
