We are looking for a Collection Agent to join our resolution team in Rochester, NY. In this role you will motivate and guide consumers through the debt resolution process while providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving issues, complaints, and inquiries, keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. Responsibilities Manage inbound and outbound communication from consumers and their representatives via phone, email, and chat Communicate with consumers to establish settlement and payment plans and to resolve questions or concerns Meet key performance indicators as outlined by management Adhere to expected quality & compliance standards within the collection industry Requirements and skills Previous experience as a debt collector is preferred (Customer service, call centers and/or sales experience will also be considered) Strong verbal and written communication skills Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills Customer-focused and adaptable to different personality types Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment Tech saavy and able to learn new technology quickly
