Collections Specialist Position Available In Chester, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Job Summary The B2B Collections Specialist is responsible formanaging and collecting outstanding accounts receivable balancesfrom business clients. This role ensures timely payments whilemaintaining strong customer relationships and adhering to internalcredit policies. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills,excellent attention to detail, and experience in high-volume B2Bcollections. Key Responsibilities Contact business clients viaphone, email, and written communication to collect past-duebalances. Review aging reports and prioritize accounts based ondelinquency, risk, and value. Investigate and resolve paymentdiscrepancies, billing disputes, and short payments. Work closelywith Sales, Customer Service, and Billing departments to resolveaccount issues and ensure accurate invoicing. Maintain detailednotes on collection activity in the company’s ERP or CRM system.

Recommend accounts for credit hold, write-off, or third-partycollections as appropriate. Assist with monthly AR reporting andcash flow forecasting. Ensure compliance with company creditpolicies and legal regulations. Qualifications High school diplomaor equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Accounting, or related field preferred. 2 years of experience inB2B collections or accounts receivable . Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with ERPsystems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to workindependently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of credit and collectionsbest practices and relevant laws (e.g., FCRA, FDCPA). Experiencewith high-volume account portfolios.
