Job Description
Collections Clerk 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Dothan, AL 36302 Overview Immediate opening for an experienced Collections Clerk with a well established business in the Dothan area. This position will start at $17 hourly and offers a competitive benefits package. Work hours can vary with the following schedule options:
Monday-Thursday:
9 hour work days starting at 7am-8am and ending by 5pm or 5:30pm and Friday 8am-2pm.
Responsibilities:
Research and solve discrepancies in payments Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Obtain lien waivers when necessary Collaborate with accounting team regarding accounts receivable Distribute Notice to Owner communication Back up the receptionist with answering phones when necessary Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts Provide supporting documents when required for audits
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years accounts receivable experience Prefer previous experience in collections Knowledge of software systems to include JD Edwards, Excel, Word, Adobe and Outlook Must be proficient with data entry Should be able to work well in a team environment #DP2
