Role:

The Payment Posting Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the payment posting team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, adjustments, and denials. This role is responsible for team leadership, process improvement, compliance monitoring, and collaboration across revenue cycle functions to support financial accuracy and efficiency.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of experience in medical payment posting, revenue cycle, or healthcare billing. 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a revenue cycle or billing environment. Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner. Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion.

Essential Functions:

Provides daily guidance, supervision, and training to the payment posting team to ensure high performance and accuracy. Assigns and monitors workloads to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, adjustments, and denials. Coaches, mentors, and holds team members accountable through regular feedback, reviews, and performance improvement plans. Oversees staffing needs, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and task delegation based on workload. Conducts regular audits and quality control reviews to identify and correct posting errors and inefficiencies. Ensures accurate batch reconciliation and alignment of payments with deposits, bank statements, and financial reports. Monitors ERA/EOB processing, resolves discrepancies, and identifies denial trends and misapplied funds. Collaborates with A/R, denials, billing, and collections teams to ensure proper application of payments and compliance. Ensures compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, HIPAA, and revenue cycle best practices. Recommends and implements workflow improvements, automation strategies, and supports system upgrades and testing. About the
