In this role you will be responsible for managing and processing customer invoices, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining records. You will work closely with internal and external teams and customers to resolve any discrepancies or billing issues while maintaining a high level of customer service. Position Essential Functions Generate and process invoices for services/products rendered Review and reconcile billing data for completeness and accuracy Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Handle inquiries related to billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Prepare and submit reports on billing activity and overdue accounts Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure correct accounting entries Communicate with customers to clarify billing information or resolve issues Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to billing and invoicing Maintain confidentiality with regard to confidential financial information Schedule priorities to meet deadlines as determined by management Update customer information and property records Print and mail invoices Work closely with Fire Chiefs in a professional manner Maintain and utilize access to various customer-based billing sites Perform other duties as assigned Position Qualifications High School Diploma Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of medical terminology Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve billing issues efficiently Ability to work independently and as part of a team Rural Metro Fire (RMF), a trusted provider of private fire management and protection services, has recently been acquired by Brindlee Fire Services (BFS) from Global Medical Response (GMR).
