Accounting/Billing Specialist Arrythmia Research Group 1150 E Matthews Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting & Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing both accounts payable and receivable functions, reconciling financial records, and supporting billing operations related to hospital and clinical research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage Accounts Payable and maintain accurate documentation Process Accounts Receivable and ensure proper recordkeeping Reconcile internal accounting units and general ledger items Reconcile hospital and clinic billing records , particularly related to research patients Perform general data entry and financial reporting tasks Support financial audits and budget tracking as needed

Qualifications:

Education:

Required:

Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

Required:

Minimum of 2 years in an accounting or billing role

Preferred:

1+ year experience in hospital or clinic billing (especially within a research setting)

Skills & Competencies:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications General knowledge of accounting principles and medical billing workflows Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communicator with ability to collaborate in small team settings High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$38,000.00 – $47,000.00 per year
