$45,000 – $50,000 annually Position Summary We are seeking a Collections Coordinator to join our Credit & Collections team. This individual will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, resolving billing issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a customer service mindset, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts in assigned stations Call and email customers regarding past due accounts Monitor and analyze accounts for potential credit holds or increases Refer accounts to the Credit Department as needed Process invoice corrections and handle disputes Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues Research payments and obtain necessary remittance information Escalate delinquent accounts to outside collections when necessary Generate and analyze aging reports for internal and customer use Create custom Excel reports for customers as needed Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience in customer service, collections, or accounts receivable Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with Bill of Lading and Purchase Orders preferred Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Shelton, CT Preferred Skills Experience in a call center or office environment Familiarity with credit analysis and collections strategies Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Comfortable making outbound calls and handling sensitive conversations Why Join Us?
