• Accounts Receivable/Deduction Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable (AR) Deduction Specialist with 2-5 years of experience to join our finance team.

The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume customer invoices accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Reconcile deductions against rebates, returns, and other credits
• Monitor accounts for incoming payments and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Ensure proper application of payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Prepare and distribute customer statements
• Maintain and update customer records and billing information
• Manage customer rebates and deductions, ensuring proper documentation, validation, and resolution
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain strong client relationships
• Support audits and provide necessary AR documentation
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve billing, rebate, or payment issues

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance/accounting role
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with a requirement to be in Wilton, CT office 4 days per week.
