A leading commodities trading firm isseeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join theirfinance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in afast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is comfortablesupporting complex AP processes in a global business setting.

KeyResponsibilities:

Accurately process high-volume invoices relatedto commodities purchases, freight, and logistics Review andreconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in atimely manner Ensure proper coding of invoices in accordance withcompany policies and chart of accounts Prepare weekly and monthlypayment runs (ACH, wire transfers, checks) Liaise with internaltrading, operations, and procurement teams to ensure accurate andtimely payments Assist with month-end close by reconciling APsub-ledger to the general ledger Maintain accurate vendor files andsupport 1099 reporting Assist with internal and external audits andprovide necessary documentation Contribute to AP processimprovement and system optimization initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relatedfield preferred 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, ideallywithin a commodities, trading, or logistics environment Familiaritywith commodity-related cost structures (freight, storage, handling)is a plus Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite Strongorganizational and problem-solving skills High attention to detailand ability to work under tight deadlines INJUN2025
