Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Billing Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that medical billing processes are carried out efficiently and accurately, and that payments are received in a timely manner. The Billing Representative will also be responsible for managing patient billing inquiries and working closely with insurance companies to resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

• DME/Medical billing experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong understanding of medical billing codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

The Billing Representative will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• The verification of all delivery tickets, pick-up tickets, medical documentation to qualify the patient and other paperwork needed to process the invoices.
• Preparations, copies and filing of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing.
• Accuracy of all medical documentation that is received from the physicians.
• Follow all guidelines that are set forth by the health care finance administration.
• Maintain patient files, typing and computer input.
• Knowledge of all state and federally funded programs.
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure billing processes are efficient and effective.
• Stay up to date with changes in medical billing regulations and guidelines.

Up to $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
