Job Description

Bilingual Billing Specialist (English and Spanish) 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Weston, FL We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Accounting team! Billing Specialist oversees the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full. They help our organization keep track of how much money is owed and by whom, often managing numerous client accounts at once. The ideal candidate must have excellent accounting skills as well as deep organizational skills to accurately handle all of the incoming payments, outgoing invoices, database updates, and more that make up their day-to-day responsibilities. On top of this meticulous attention to detail, the billing specialist must also possess excellent communication skills to answer questions for clients, solve their issues, and keep them updated with relevant account information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Send invoices and account updates to clients Keep an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances Receive, sort, and track incoming payments Validate debit accounts to ensure the credibility of payments Issue receipts for received payments Address and solve client questions and issues Securely handle client data and payment information Provide regular, accurate reports of billing data All other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities An Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field 1 – 2+ years of experience working in a billing specialist role preferred Proficiency in 10-key and Microsoft Excel is required Able to quickly learn various accounting software Has excellent written & verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization, vendors, and clients Has incredible attention to detail and substantial organizational skills Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently Sufficient at analyzing Information and managing processes Demonstrates professionalism Has problem-solving mindset Physical Requirements Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination. Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility. Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances.
