Full-time Are you an experienced Billing Coordinator looking for a dynamic opportunity in a law firm setting? We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage attorney billing and assist with various accounting functions. This role requires two to three years of billing or accounting experience in a law firm, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a preference for 3E software experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and edit pre-bills in response to attorney and secretary requests. Apply retainer funds as directed by attorneys. Process write-offs in accordance with firm policies. Execute complex billing (e.g., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, electronic billing). Manage a high volume of monthly bills efficiently and accurately. Interact and communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients. Review and verify billing accuracy and supporting documentation. Research and respond to billing inquiries and disputes. Generate and distribute final client invoices and monthly reports. Ensure compliance with firm billing policies and procedures. Operate office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, fax machines, and calculators. Maintain confidentiality of client and firm matters at all times. Utilize billing websites such as TyMetrix, CounselLink, Tracker, and Datacert. Assist with legal inquiries, litigation documentation, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

2-3 years of billing or accounting experience in a law firm required. Experience with electronic billing systems and legal billing procedures preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with 3E billing software is a plus. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high-volume billing while maintaining accuracy. Knowledge of legal billing policies and procedures. Why Join Us?
