Collections Associate Attorney 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 • Hybrid work TMP is seeking a collection attorney with skills in legal collections including filing complaints, handling contested collection matters and post judgment. This position offers the ability to move up into a lead or management position.

Qualifications:

1 + years of experience handling collections matters Strong litigation skills including ability to conduct; non-jury trials, depositions, mediations and motion practice. Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task a large number of matters at once. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of honesty and ethics as an officer of the court Willingness to seek to fulfil our clients’ needs in a consumer-friendly fashion. NY License required. NJ and Federal License a plus.

Responsibilities:

Independently handle a caseload. Update case management system and clients timely. Preparation and attendance at hearings, trials and mediations. (Requires travel within New York) Respond to and Propound discovery. Draft legal pleadings, conduct legal research and motion practice. Provide legal advice on updates in laws and regulatory requirements.

$82,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
