The ideal Billing Specialist Is highly organized with great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using Excel and Microsoft Office suite. Communicates with medical providers to obtain needed information and resolve billing issues. Generates excel spreadsheets for special projects. Partners with finance to resolve A/R and A/P issues. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and HCPCS coding ICD/10 Coding certification a plus. Associate degree in business administration or accounting preferred.
