• We are looking for someone who has experience working in a primary care medical office.
• We need someone who is computer lit, and familiar with the different Insurance portals as well as worked on an EMR system. We are currently using Allscripts.
• Someone who understands the terminology of different diagnosis and coding and capitated HMO medicare plans.
• We are looking for someone who understands all the Medicare required codes needed to report, understands the different codes that are supposed to be billed together.
• Knows how to submit electronic claims, post charges of the day, submit appeals, verify insurances, post insurance payments, and bill patients deductibles.
• Will need to keep up with all the denied claims and appeals to make sure payment has been sent.

Ideal Candidate:

Medical office billing, Medical coding, Medical Biller, Medical office billing specialist, Medical coder, understands insurance verification.

• We are looking for someone who is a team player, works hard, helps others, friendly and kind to our patients and staff.
• Must be fluent in English
