Medical Billing and Collections Specialist – Home Health Family Life Care Orange Park, FL 32073 Family Life Care is a leading provider of compassionate home health care services, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Billing and Collections specialist to join our team in Orange Park, Florida. Strong understanding of Home Health Medical Claims, Billing and Collections is required. Primary Job Duties Performs medical billing and accounts receivable tasks to ensure proper reimbursement. Maintains patient account records to document billing and collections history. Use payer and clearinghouse portals to research and resolve unpaid claims.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance in home health care Experience with Florida Medicaid and the HHAexchange system Strong knowledge of home healthcare software and payer portal experience Experience working with Palmetto GBA (Medicare) Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Ability to research and find necessary information to submit or collect on unpaid claims.
