Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate invoices, tracking billing data, and applying payments from clients. This role requires a strong understanding of billing procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within the team as well as with other branches.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue invoices for landscape maintenance, design-build, and enhancement projects. Maintain accurate records of billing transactions on the daily log. Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client disputes in a professional and timely manner. Maintain and update client billing profiles, including contract terms, rates, billing preferences, and contacts. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Coordinate with the scheduling and operations teams to confirm service completion before billing. Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in improving billing processes and sustems.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Familiar with accounts receivable operations. Construction, landscaping, or similar industry experience. Proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with vendor portals. Knowledge of lien waivers, retainage, and compliance documentation. High attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
