Medical Billing Specialist Position Available In Duval, Florida

Description We are in search of a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team located in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves the handling of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also oversee customer accounts and take appropriate action when required. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications, with a focus on third-party insurance Medicaid, Medicare, and private party/individual claims.
• Manage and maintain precise customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Oversee customer accounts, monitoring for any changes or updates that need to be addressed.
• Handle around 300 Medicaid claims each month and manage 20 private pay invoices sent out each month.
• Deal with CDC+ similar to Medicaid is 10, including 36 for insurance claims.
• Handle 17 mental health sessions 53 claims and 200 3rd party claims each month.
• Use software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, and Epaces for various tasks.
• Perform Credentialing processes and maintain medical credentialing records.
• Manage third-party billing and third-party insurance carriers.
• Handle Medicaid Billing, Medicaid Claim, Medicare Billing, and Medicare Claim. Requirements
• Proficient in Inovalon
• Familiar with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
• Skilled in using EHR SYSTEM and Epaces
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience with appeals and benefit functions
• Proficient in billing functions and claim administration
• Ability to handle insurance claims and medical billing
• Experience with medical claims processing
• Familiar with credentialing and credentialing processes
• Proficient in medical credentialing
• Skilled in third-party billing and dealing with third-party insurance
• Familiar with third-party insurance carriers
• Experience with Medicaid, including Medicaid billing and claims
