We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate collections, and providing support in auditing and accounting functions. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage medical billing processes, including submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding accounts. Perform collections activities to ensure timely payment from patients and insurance companies. Conduct audits of billing and collections to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy of records. Provide backup support for accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable. Assist in accounting reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records. Enter and maintain data in billing and accounting systems with a high level of accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the department.
