As a Patient Accounts Representative, you ll play a key role in keeping our billing operations running smoothly. From processing payments to resolving insurance issues and supporting patients with compassion, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring billing accuracy and financial peace of mind. This role blends technical know-how with excellent customer service and a keen eye for detail-all while upholding patient confidentiality and compliance standards. What You ll Need to

Succeed Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience:

1-2 years in healthcare billing or a similar accounts role (preferred) Knowledge of medical billing systems and insurance procedures is a strong plus

Skills:

Excellent communication and patient service skills strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks

High SchoolResponsibilities Insurance & Claims Follow up on denied or rejected claims and file appeals when needed Work directly with insurance providers and patients to resolve claim issues Ensure all claims are documented correctly and processed on time Customer Support Respond to patient questions via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and empathy Explain billing procedures and set up payment plans when necessary Resolve complex billing issues with tact and efficiency Billing & Payments Accurately process and post patient payments

  • Must have intermediate excel skills
