Insurance Verification Specialist Duties and Responsibilities Verifying Insurance Coverage:
Confirming that patients have valid insurance coverage for the services they are receiving.
Obtaining Authorizations:
Securing pre-authorizations for medical procedures and services as required by insurance companies.
Patient Communication:
Explaining insurance coverage details to patients, including deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket costs.
Billing Support:
Providing data and information to billing staff to ensure accurate claims submission.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating insurance information.
Problem Resolution:
Addressing insurance-related issues and denials. Communication with
